Vast Notion

Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: 12 October 2026

Who is paid, and by whom

artgrafika s.r.o., the company that publishes this site, takes part in an affiliate program for Raid: Shadow Legends. The program is run by the affiliate network that operates the link, which is a separate business sitting between the publisher of the game and sites like this one.

The network records that a reader arrived from this site. If that reader registers on the landing page, installs the game and launches the tutorial, the network reports a qualifying referral and pays artgrafika s.r.o. a commission for it. That is the whole arrangement. There is no retainer, no sponsorship and no payment for coverage.

What it costs you

Nothing. The price of anything you choose to do on the other site is the same whether you arrived from here, from a search engine or by typing the address yourself. An affiliate link changes who is credited for the referral; it does not change the terms you are offered.

Nor does it cost you anything to ignore. Following the link is not required by any step of the course, and no part of the course is withheld from readers who do not.

Where the links appear

There are three paid links on this site, and they are the only ones. One sits on the homepage, in the section headed "Where Raid: Shadow Legends appears in this course, and why". One sits in Step 1, where a concrete example of the genre is given. One sits in Step 3, in the section about checking you are on a publisher's real site.

Each one is labelled where it appears, with a line beside it saying it is a paid link and that a commission may follow. Each points directly at the destination address, so your browser's status bar shows where you are going before you follow it. There is no redirect page in between, no script that swaps the address, and no difference in what you are shown depending on where you came from.

Every other outbound link on this site — to the Australian Classification Board, the ACCC, Scamwatch, the eSafety Commissioner, the OAIC and the Australian Cyber Security Centre — is unpaid. Nobody pays us to link to a regulator, and nobody could.

What the commission does not decide

The commission does not decide what the five steps say. The checklists were written before any link was placed, and they are the part of the course that tells you what to do. Several items in them — set a figure before you install, remove saved payment details, read the classification advice, stop at the end of the session you planned — reduce the chance that a reader spends money, and they are there anyway.

The commission also does not decide which products are mentioned by name. Exactly one is, and the course says openly that it appears because of this commercial relationship rather than because it was selected on merit. We have not tested it, we do not rank it, and we repeat only what the affiliate program itself states about it: that it is a battle collection role-playing game, that the program pays on registration, installation and launching the tutorial, and that it is for desktop computers running macOS, Windows or Linux.

What does decide the content

Three things. First, the order in which a beginner's questions actually arrive — what is this, will it run, what do the documents say, how do I install it, how do I keep my limits. Second, what can be checked: where a step touches classification, consumer rights, privacy, online safety or device security, it links to the Australian body that publishes the material rather than paraphrasing it. Third, whether an item can be acted on; anything that could not become a checklist line was cut.

Where none of those three supported a claim, the claim is phrased as general guidance or left out entirely. That is why there are no statistics, no benchmarks, no rankings and no reviews anywhere on this site. The editorial method on the About page sets this out in more detail, including who writes the course and how often it is reviewed.

Trademarks

All brand names on Vast Notion, Raid: Shadow Legends among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Vast Notion, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.

To be explicit about what that means: this site is not operated by, approved by or connected to the publisher of any product named here, and it does not sell anything. Nobody whose product is mentioned has reviewed or seen this course.

What we receive from the network

artgrafika s.r.o. receives commission reports from the affiliate network, which it uses only to reconcile payments. We do not receive, request or hold information identifying individual readers, and we cannot tell who followed a link. The privacy policy describes this, and the cookie policy explains that the other organisations' own domains may set cookies once you leave this one.
